NDMTSS - Tier 3 System Support - Prevent Teach Reinforce (PTR) Foundations [Multi-Day Series] 2022-2023

Tuesday, November 29, 2022 8:30 AM - Wednesday, November 30, 2022 3:30 PM (CST)

Description

DESCRIPTION: Developed as a standardized process for implementing functional behavior assessment and behavior intervention planning, this innovative model gives school-based teams a collaborative multi-step process to reduce serious challenging behaviors and increase desired behaviors of students needing individualized behavior supports.

Booster sessions are designed to reinforce the two-day training and are aligned with each step in the PTR process. Cases will be selected for peer review and coaching in an attempt to support advancing the process at a local level. School-based teams come to the training with some potential cases, students who have not responded to Tier 1 or 2 support and are perceived to be in need of additional support.
