NDMTSS - Leading Implementation of Systemic SEL Training [Multi-Day Series] 2021-2022

NDMTSS - Leading Implementation of Systemic SEL Training [Multi-Day Series] 2021-2022

Tuesday, October 5, 2021 (8:30 AM - 11:30 AM) (CDT)

Description

DESCRIPTION:  This team-based training series is designed to support district, and in some instances, school building leadership teams, in creating the conditions for optimizing social-emotional learning through the application of the NDMTSS Essential Components and continuous improvement. Investigation of the four approaches to SEL, evidence-based programs and practices supporting SEL, and translating current educational research to practice in an attempt to impact outcomes for all students is the focus. This training is most effective when paired with ND SEL Network membership.

Leadership Teams will:

  1. Define Social-Emotional Learning (SEL);
  2. Understand the four approaches to SEL;
  3. Apply the NDMTSS Essential Components as they relate to systemic SEL;
  4. Identify evidence-based programs and practices;
  5. Initiate the development of comprehensive, systems-level planning and coordination of SEL

DELIVERY:  This multi-session series will be delivered exclusively online.  Links to connect virtually for each session will be sent to each team via email prior to each session.
