SESSION 1: Supporting Student Behavior at Tier 1

Not every student’s behavior improves with Tier 1 support alone. However, no higher-tiered supports will ever be truly effective or sustainable if they’re not layered on the foundation of solid Tier 1 systems. A variety of behavioral best practices for Tier 1 and strong classroom management will be shared, including quality instruction of expected behaviors, strengthening student relationships, and effectively redirecting misbehavior. We’ll then take a glimpse of Tier 2 supports and how these build upon and complement our efforts in Tier 1. Strategies and processes will also be shared to address more chronic behavior challenges at the individual and whole-class level.

DELIVERY: This 1-hour webinar will be delivered synchronously ONLINE.  It is expected that participants attend during the live session.
