Description

REGISTRATION: An MOU is required to register for this event. Contact Kayla Durkin - kayla.durkin@k12.nd.us   for more details about the MOU.

DESCRIPTION: This training, intended for school or district lead teams, will assist schools in determining their desired state of providing high-quality instruction and interventions matched to student need while monitoring progress frequently to make decisions about changes in instruction and/or goals. The training will empower teams to build an action plan to determine the resources and supports necessary to ensure every student is provided the opportunity to succeed.

OBJECTIVES: 

  • Understand the Essential Components
  • Determine the appropriate structure to begin the process in a school
  • Identify current strengths within a school system
  • Begin the decision-making process

PRESENTER:  Shannon Harken (Professional Learning & Leadership Consultant, Heartland AEA)

DELIVERY:  This professional learning series is offered exclusively VIRTUAL over 3 full-day sessions.

AUDIENCE:  School leadership teams of 6-10 individuals; including Administrators (REQUIRED to have at least one); special educators; instructional coaches; MTSS coordinators; lead teachers; counselors.

CREDIT:  1 graduate continuing education credit available for application through VCSU after participating in all required sessions/activities and submitting application fee.

Pricing

COST: $1,500/Team of 6 ($120 per person for each additional person over 6)

MOU Required: When clicking "Register" you'll be directed to the MOU for completion. The MOU then needs to be sent to Kayla Durkin, CREA, (kayla.durkin@k12.nd.us) to officially complete your team's registration.
